A little about us

At VIDA for Living, we believe the best memories are made outdoors.

Whether it's sharing a cheese platter and a bottle of wine with friends, gathering around the fire with family, hosting a backyard BBQ, or simply slowing down after a busy day, we believe life's best moments happen when we're together.

Our story began in our own backyard in Mango Hill, Queensland.

Like many Australians, we loved spending our evenings outside. We'd set up a grazing board, pour a glass of wine and settle in for the night... until the mozzies arrived.

We tried everything. Citronella candles. Mosquito coils. Sprays. Every product that promised to keep the bugs away. Yet somehow we'd still end up getting bitten or packing everything up and heading inside earlier than we'd planned.

We knew there had to be a better way. So we set out to create one.

After plenty of trial, testing and more than a few mozzie bites, we created our first fire pot. It didn't just help us enjoy our outdoor space again, it created an atmosphere we found ourselves coming back to night after night.

For years, we used our fire pots ourselves, taking them on picnics by the water, lighting them for backyard dinners, and sharing them with family and friends. The more people experienced them, the more we were asked the same question...

"Where can we get one?"

That's when we realised maybe this wasn't just something we needed, it was something other people would love too.

And so, VIDA for Living was born.

The name VIDA is made up of our names together, Victoria and Damien. But it also carries a meaning that's close to our hearts. In Spanish, "Vida" means life.

That perfectly reflects what our brand is all about.

Life is for Living.

It's about saying yes to one more weekend away.

It's about making time for family and friends.

It's about slowing down, putting your phone away, lighting the fire and enjoying the moment.

Meet Victoria

Victoria is the creative heart behind VIDA for Living. Originally from Canada and now proudly calling Australia home, she brings a love of travel, outdoor living and thoughtful design to everything she does. She believes the simplest moments: a shared meal, a warm fire and great company, are often the ones we remember most- she is passionate about creating products that inspire people to slow down and enjoy life together.

Meet Damien

Damien is the problem solver behind the brand. Practical by nature and always looking for a better solution, he is passionate about designing quality products that help people make the most of their outdoor spaces. His focus has always been on creating products that people genuinely enjoy using, whether they're relaxing at home or out exploring Australia.

Today, VIDA for Living is still a small business built on the same values that inspired it from the beginning - connection, adventure, quality, and making the most of life's everyday moments.
